Our eyes are on the next part of June's story on The Handmaid's Tale. There's still a wait. The Handmaid's Tale Season 5 is not coming this month.

Right now, it's hard to tell where in filming The Handmaid's Tale Season 5 is. However, we do know that it's not completed yet. We also know that it's not been through the post-production stage. The show isn't on the list of November releases on Hulu, and we're not all that surprised by it.

Of course, it never stopped us looking for it just in case. After all, we're all excited to see the next part of the story.

The Handmaid's Tale Season 5 release date predictions

Without knowing where the show is in the filming process, it's hard to say when the fifth season could be released on Hulu. We're not expecting it any sooner than April 2022, though.

The season was renewed in December 2020. It usually takes at least a year to get through all stages of production, and filming didn't start right away.

Most seasons have been released in April of each year. Season 3 was the exception, being released in June 2019. Season 4 was going to be released in fall 2020 but the pandemic halted filming, pushing it to April 2021. With that in mind, we're looking at April 2022 as the earliest date for the season to arrive.

Will it be the final season? Maybe. This is one of those shows that needs to come to a complete end. It needs to wrap up all the storylines, and that means a final season order needs to be given by the network or the production studio needs to come to an agreement on when the ending should be.

There are always eyes on when the final season should be. With a sequel series planned, based on Margaret Atwood's The Testaments, The Handmaid's Tale Season 5 could be the perfect time to wrap up June's story, especially now that she's in Canada.
