Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker, a steadfast supporter of legalizing sports betting in the commonwealth, wants to see momentum from House and Senate negotiators by Sunday's end-of-session deadline.

"I certainly hope it makes it to the desk," Baker told reporters Thursday morning, after he jokingly asked Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito if she wanted "to bet on the sports betting bill." Polito responded "I would" and high-fived the governor.
