After the high viewership numbers of the first film, The Gray Man 2 release date is in high demand. The film focuses on the CIA's top asset, Court Gentry, aka Sierra Six, aka 'the Gray Man'. As he uncovers agency secrets, he is forced to go rogue and gets hunted across the globe by several assassins and a psychopathic hired gun, Lloyd Hansen. But after proving his innocence, when will Sierra Six be back?

Here's all of The Gray Man 2 release date information we know so far and all the details on when it is coming out.

Is there a The Gray Man 2 release date?

The Gray Man 2 release date could arrive by mid-2025.

After The Gray Man posted colossal viewership numbers to become Netflix's fifth most-watched movie of all time, a sequel and even a spinoff were greenlit. Currently, part 2's filming hasn't begun. The Russos stated that they were in the middle of penning down the script in April 2023.

But the WGA Writers' strike would have certainly delayed the process. So, it's likely that filming for The Gray Man 2 will begin sometime in 2024. Following that, its release could be expected in mid-late 2025.

This date is an estimation based on the information we have so far. ComingSoon will provide an update to this story once we receive official details.

The upcoming sequel is confirmed to adapt Mark Greaney's second book in his novel series, "On Target." It will surely bring back Ryan Gosling as the titular character, and Ana de Armas' Dani Miranda is also expected to return. We might also see the likes of Rege-Jean Page's Denny Carmichael and Jessica Henwick's Suzanne Brewer be brought back. The Russo Brothers will be directing yet again!

Where is The Gray Man 2 coming out?

'The Gray Man' Taught Me About My Strengths: Ana De Armas

Playing a "vibrant independent woman" in latest action blockbuster 'The Gray Man' required a working process, which Ana de Armas says made her aware about her strengths as an actor.Directed by Hollywood's popular filmmaker duo Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, 'The Gray Man' features De Armas in the role of Agent Dani Miranda, a character she defines as someone who is "highly intelligent and sensitive"."It was a working process. When I started training, the preparation for this film was quite long to my advantage. I think I started learning about myself, what I was best at and what were my strengths," the 34-year-old actor told the media source in a virtual roundtable interview. Congratulations!

Dani becomes an unexpected ally to Six and saves him on more than one occasion in high-octane action sequences. To look the part, de Armas said she spent a lot of time understanding both the physical and emotional aspects of her character."The Russos were not with me on training, so I would keep them posted about what I felt more comfortable doing, what was good and what was not. We started building the character that way and put more into the movie which I was good at," she added.

As part of her preparation, the Cuban-Spanish star also got the opportunity to connect with a real-life CIA agent."She (Dani) works at the office, but she's also in the field. So, it is a rare crossover happening there. I just wanted to have both sides of it, the physical and that hardcore military training and background. So, this character came into life in an organic and collaborative way," she said.

De Armas is no stranger to action movies, courtesy her stint in the latest James Bond film 'No Time To Die'. But 'The Gray Man' was a rare experience, the actor said, as she never went through such rigorous physical training for a film.

"At the beginning, I didn't know what was going to happen. I hadn't gone to this extent of training before. I just didn't know how I was going to respond or my body was going to respond to this."

Summing up the time she spent on creating Dani, De Armas said she loved everything about her on-screen persona. "I just loved all of it about her. It wasn't just about physical strength. It was also the psychological side and at the same time the human side of her. The film shows how flexible she is in adapting to the situation," she said. 'The Gray Man' has been adapted for screen by the Russo Brothers along with frequent collaborators Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus. The film also features Indian superstar Dhanush in a pivotal role alongside Billy Bob Thornton, Rege Jean-Page and Jessica Henwick. the movie premiered on OTT last week. Ana de Armas: There's no need for female James Bond

Actress Ana de Armas, who played mysterious Paloma in Daniel Craig's final outing as 007 in 'No Time to Die', said she instead wants to see more substantial, deeper roles for women in the spy franchise. She told amid calls from some for Daniel's Bond replacement to be of the opposite sex: "There's no need for a female Bond. There shouldn't be any need to steal someone else's character, you know, to take over.

Man In The Grey Flannel Suit

The Man in the Grey Flannel Suit is a long movie and one worth seeing. Its subject, the great Madison Avenue of high-pressure public relations, is tricky and almost impossible to describe without loading the dice. Passing up most of the opportunities for cute, crude humor, the movie makes a skillful attempt to give a straight treatment to Madison Avenue and its progeny.

The straightforwardness of the approach shows up best in the main characters. As individuals, none of them is a caricature. It would not be hard to use Sloan Wilson's novel only to add to the Hollywood legion of tired executives and bright, singleminded young men. But the man in the grey flannel suit is not a simple animal, and it is largely to the credit of writer-director Nunally Johnson that this fact is made clear.

Johnson's script is a slick, competent job. While the scenario is complex and maybe too long, it makes effective use of flashbacks to fill in the war career of the man in the grey flannel suit. The flashbacks show how he killed seventeen men in the war, and--more convincingly--how he fell in love with an Italian girl in Rome. Returning home, he has a new attitude toward himself and the public relations job which he soon takes. Remaining self-consistent, the action builds up to a series of crucial scenes. If some of the early parts of the film are tedious, they justify these scenes and make them real. When the young executive's boss humbles himself before his daughter and his employee, and when the man himself does so before his wife, the words they use have meaning.

The less successful moments of the movie come when the characters attempt to generalize too quickly. Their generalizations about security--those that don't come out of the action itself--and particularly the tycoon's remarks about success are mostly vacuous.

Fortunately the characters spend little time making speeches. Gregory Peck as the man in the gray flannel suit, Jennifer Jones as his wife, and Fredric March as the tycoon all do a great deal for their roles. Peck's is the toughest part. He gives a more than adequate performance as a man who acts decisively and honestly out of a strong self-respect--which is what his boss most lacks--without being especially superficial. Jennifer Jones and Fredric March skillfully manage dramatic scenes which in other hands might invite disaster. With scarcely an exception, the minor characters--like an elevator man whom Peck had known in Italy--are convincingly portrayed. In the small role of the girl he met there, Marisa Pavan is remarkable.

In spite of its length and the slickness that sometimes makes it too neat, The Man in the Grey Flannel Suit is a good movie. It deals with Madison Avenue squarely and in its own terms; so that what the movie "says" has meaning for its subject. Once Gregory Peck is first shown on his commuter's train, the action devolops consistently out of itself, and the pleas for some kind of honesty or simplicity have a meaning for the people from whom they come.
